Golf Course Superintendent
Mount Vernon Country Club in Alexandria, Virginia is seeking a GCSAA Class A Superintendent to direct the golf course operations of the club. The club was established in 1961 and currently has 460 golf members and 675 total members. Amenities include an 18-hole golf course, driving range, practice putting green and a dedicated short game practice area. Fairways are latitude-36, with bent grass tees and greens.
The ideal candidate shall be experienced in the challenges of turf management in the Mid-Atlantic transitional zone and possess a demonstrated track record of success. He/or she is expected to be highly visible with the staff and membership; and possess strong communication skills both verbal and written.
The compensation package includes a base salary and bonus potential as well as an excellent benefits package. A start date after March 15, 2018 will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
