We are seeking a customer service-oriented, highly motivated leader to join our world-class team as a full-time Assistant Golf Course Superintendent for Hobbit’s Glen Golf Club. Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of a public golf course required. Candidate should hold, at a minimum, a two-year golf course or turf management certificate and three years of experience. Management experience preferred.
Job duties will be both indoors and outdoors. Duties include assisting in budget preparation; staff management; scheduling and training; and equipment and course repair. Candidate should be well-versed in the application of fertilizers and chemicals. IIIC turf pesticide applicator's license, Maryland fertilizer applicator license and the ability to pass a DOT physical are required.
