    Bayville Golf Club, located on the Lynnhaven River in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a motivated and passionate Assistant in Training to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to the success of one of Virginia’s premier private clubs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in daily maintenance, including mowing, spraying, fertilizing, and course setup.

    • Operate and diagnose equipment and irrigation systems.

    • Participate in agronomic planning and applications (pesticide/fertilizer).

    • Engage in professional development and staff supervision.

    • Support use of technology platforms, data collection, and innovation discovery.


    Qualifications

    • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

    • Proactive, eager to learn, and interested in cutting-edge turf management.

    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and select holidays.
