Job Title: Golf Course Superintendent

Location: Walden Country Club – Crofton, Maryland
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the daily maintenance and long-term care of our golf course. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent playing conditions while managing staff, resources, and environmental best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of golf course maintenance
• Plan and execute agronomic programs, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest control
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff
• Maintain course appearance to high-quality standards year-round
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets and inventories

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
• Valid chemical/pesticide applicator license (required)
• College degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful, but not required
• Knowledge of modern turf management practices and equipment
